  • The very good video missed one, funny or strange fact. The whole New York area was looking for the brother still thought to be alive. They searched as far as Atlantic City. Every paper covered it front page.

Turns out he was 10 FEET away from his dead brother, it took that long to find the man 10 feet away. The fact that the NYPD did not even notice the smell tells you something about how awful it must have stunk in there.

    Thanks again funny video

  • @milesdigby Dang, that' s really cool - thank you! If you liked this then please check out my channel where you can see much more current and better made reviews.

  • I'm not sure if anyone else pointed this out, but Langley was the younger brother, not the older one. Although, I'm not sure it really matters.

  • @freudzwetdream Yeah....this is one of my earliest videos, where errors like that slipped through now and again. I'd suggest looking at the more recent ones!

But yeah, I guess it doesn't change their story at all - but accuracy is always good to strive for.

  • 130 tons and the place didn't collapse?

  • @nerdelicious5 Well, the weight would have been distributed all over the rather large home but STILL, it is kind of remarkable that the newspaper tunnel - not the house - was what collapsed!

  • I read it was 130 tons

  • @Probewitch Thanks! It'd be immodest of me to do so but if you want to suggest it to them then please be my guest.

  • Rocketboom should interview you.

  • @turkaderr great question

  • @HandfulOfMinutes ha ha I like the mystery. I heard they had a double headed feutus!

  • @lydz25 I'm guessing piece by piece and then they reassembled it? But that second part would mean several hours of not hoarding new things so I have my doubts.

  • @Polevaultnerd08 Thanks man! You should check out some of our new episodes, this guy is pretty rough compared to them.

  • lol thanks I love this!

  • how the hell did they fit 14 pianos in a brownstone?

  • @LOLCATS3111 Haha, this is a very early episode and I got much better about that.

  • very interesting stuff ...... BUT PLEASE FIX YOUR TIE NEXT TIME ....... it's very distracting !!!!

  • Haha yes, let's help them with their "problem".

  • Wow, this guy makes it sound like stores, malls, and museums are hoards!!! clean them out!!!

  • Thanks man! May I suggest looking at some of our new videos? We've come a long way since this one, hoooo boy.

  • nice joke @ the end about onions :)

  • ERK....dang!

Well I'm glad you enjoyed it anyways! You're absolutely right...I think so many people are hoarders to one degree or another. I'm certainly no exclusion!

  • It's 'Edmund' Trebus, not 'Edward'. Hate to correct you but...

Great Clip. Collyer brothers are very interesting. My ex wife is what you would call a mild hoarder, mainly old papers, notes, magazines etc. I suppose we've all got our little quirks...

  • but of course, thank you for being so generous.
