  • I LOVE this movie. when I worked at video store in the early 90s back in the days of VHS, I would beg people to rent it. Every customer came back telling me they laughed so hard they almost peed.

  • I heard there is an uncut version of this movie, I guess its on VHS but its really hard to find this is a classic I'm really surprise it has not got a DVD release

  • Do you have a copy of A New Leaf? I'd love to see it uploaded.

  • @Piratejenny25 I have this on VHS and can say it's not uncut, matter of fact the soundtrack was altered and changed for some reason. I remember seeing this on the Late Late Show on CBS. I hope it does get a proper release one day, great film.

  • I can't believe this is not on DVD. Someone told me that Elaine May was not happy with the studio's final cut. If true, then she should do a "Director's Cut" version. I bet it would be even funnier. Please, does anyone out there know this talented woman? Can she explain why this wonderful film is not on DVD???!!!

  • I love it, I love it, I love it! I can't recall ever having laughed so hard in my life. I have completely worn out my VHS copy. We can help get it recognized for the jewel that it is by going to the Turner Classic Movies website and asking to see it. If the world sees it on TCM, maybe we can persuade the Paramount Video people to release a deluxe set on DVD. It's worth a try. I have also gone to the Viacom website and asked for it to be released. They own Paramount, and hopefully will.

  • may had issues with the studio over forced editing. she faded after Ishtar!

  • "Goodbye..."

  • a fabulous movie.. quite hysterically funny.. a classic

  • One of my all time favourite movies!!!!

  • This was in my "Recommended for You" section. I have to admit it's right up there as one of my favorite movies, and I really enjoy this opening sequence.

"I wonder what he does to her, that ..." (sound of tires squeeling)
