  • I grew up on The Who...driving my family crazy because I played them SO much from the age of about 14 to 21. Then, I'm embarrassed to say that I thought I'd out grown the music. Now in my 40's a couple of years ago I took up the guitar. Now I can appreciate this man's incredible talent from a new perspective, and I've rediscovered all the old songs I never really stopped loving. Thanks Mr. Townshend, you've given much to many.

  • Eric Clapton my ass. This is the greatest guitar player on earth!

  • Title sounds like a news headline :P

    This was awesome, btw!

  • i agree karatoula , nobody has come even close to pete as a guitarist , he is the best in the world

  • I think Clapton, Satriani and Hendrix are the "holy trinity" of guitarists, but Pete can't be far behind

  • Pete is one of the world's great guitar players, John was arguably the best bassist of all time, Keith may have been the best drummer (and Zak is damn good too), and in his prime, Daltrey had to be one of the best singers of all time. Truly one of the greatest bands ever.

  • I bought a Gibson J200 TV on the strenth of this great man..

It cost me 3 grand and worth every penny.. wonderfull sound just like Pete!!!

  • I know its not the wand, its the wizard that waves it, but my god that gibson j-200 sounds sweet!

  • A TRUE MINSTREL !! INCREDIBLE !

  • @karatoula I love this response. It is so obvious that you're true The Who fan, who would rather smash something up, than argue. No disrespect, i would do the same, so Eric Clapton my ass! :)

  • Ya think he knows this song.....Holy shit.

  • As good as Roger's performance is on the studio version, this version trumps all. Pete is simply unbelievable.
