I'm also blind and a wheelchair user. I'm really impressed you can do that and it gives me some hope that it will be something I can eventually do. Thank you for your great narrations. They really helped.

@thekeyboardsmash I lucked out in rehab...when it was clear that I wasn't leaving my wheelchair behind any time soon, they were the ones who initiated teaching me all this stuff. It's a LOT easier than it looks!... (says the one with a really sucky balance).

This is great, and I wish I'd seen it a couple of years ago when I was trying to figure things out with my new wheelchair! I might have taken the anti-tips off sooner and begun working on the balance stuff. Which you explain beautifully, by the way. Yay for "tippy" chairs! The techs don't like me to have such a tippy chair, but it improves my push efficiency as well as enabling me to do wheelies, get up the step to my local cafe, and so on. Thanks for posting this!
