U.K. singer Ben Walker performs his adaption of Canadian poet Stuart Ross's poem "We Got Punched." The poem is from Ross's book Hey, Crumbling Balcony! (ECW Press, 2003) and this track appears on the CD An Orphan's Song: Ben Walker Sings Stuart Ross (Peak/Proper, 2008).

  • Hi Ben, liking the Ray Charles / Stevie Wonderesque shades. Sounding kinda Gospel... A tribute to the saga of a mispent you....why you been so quiet on the releasing front lately?

    Was listening to "if you want love have mine" this morning on your 5 track ep from late 2006. Damn good track that...reminds me of Big Star... Who were a massive influence on Teenage Fanclub, along with the Byrds.
