So underrated... Their sound has evolved so much and this album is fucking my brain to the point of orgasm... I don't think it is generic nor commercial. It sounds heavier and cohesive, the guitars are pure magic in this one, Simone sounds more aware of her vocals and she just makes me throw my head back... and the lyrics improved to a more mature writing as well... Fucking epic, it's what it is. Epica is more Epica than ever. btw killer concert last Saturday, here in Lisbon!!

If this band gets any better, I dont know if we can deal with it. They always talk about the symphonic metal bands from Finland and how good they are. Yeah; I can see that. But those symphonic metal bands from Holland are just on another level entirely. While the Fin bands are good; the DUTCH BANDS ARE SIMPLE LEGENDARY. Holland being the birthplace to the amazing "reality" movement also gave us the brilliant BLACK SYMPHONY by Within Temptation. This is beyond just music, its harmonic genius.
