Sorry but this amp sounds more like a 5150, which uses 6l6 tubes as opposed to a marshal that eddie used in the early days, with EL 34's.
Hear the low mids in this one... it's just different.
To get a Marshall tone you need more highs and less gain... maybe get the bugera with EL43's.

I love seeing setups like this, guys like this may be on a budget, but he's a great guitar player, he uses equipment that's in his price range and makes it sound great. I'd bet any money it sounds a lot better in person too. Great playing my friend! Keep them coming!

You said your letting me take the challenge to see if my ears can hear that this is the brown sound... I think you need to take the challenge and make sure your ears are okay. This sounds no where near as good as a Marshall

It's the brownsound baby!

Sounds thin and it's lacking that pushed amp aggression. I had combo amps that sounded better than that. Not knocking it but it's from Eddies tone.

@CarlosGTR its still 12ax7's/ecc83's but in the 1990 there only 3 or 4, i cant remember, i have a year old bugera 1960 i bought second hand and so far no complaints, love it to bits

@5150stephen I see... so what kind of pre amp tubes does this bugera amp use? Also, I've been told that the downside of those amps are the repair parts... wht's your take on that?

its a clone of the jcm 900!

I love how he can play Panama and show us the finger at the same time.

nice sound!

@CarlosGTR but what u have to remember is this bugera has 5881's in the power section same as a jcm 900, so i agree that it doesnt soud like an early evh tone, but it doesnt sound like a 5150, theres not enough gain from the 1990, and the power amps valves give it a different sound
nop the head is just sitting on a 600$ coffee table.....
of course its going through the orange!!!!!!
