People liking radio pop music and throwing money at it won't kill or hurt music like this. People make this music because they want to and they love to, and that won't stop. If that wasn't the case then we'd have a hard time finding sincerety in the millions of musicians like this that there would be and we would probably take it for granted. Quit worrying about pop music and other people's business, just listen to what you like. Yoni and millions of other musicians kick ass. That's what counts.

@invertedteapot essentially what I'm trying to say is they are impressionable as fuck, and they can't go either way as long as their enviorment does too. So dude, if this is eating you up inside a 'revolution of music' so to speak isn't impossible or improbable. All it takes is effort. And I really enjoyed your level headed response thank you, lovely back and forth right here right now.

@invertedteapot But thank god adolesent aren't the entire public, and though they've greatly damaged the media, what with their tastes being most profitable it doesn't mean they've chased all greatness in the dark. I'm fifeteen and I know thats really annoying to say on youtube but I've met so many other people that understand this frustration of musics slow and painful demise, but as far as I'm concerned they just need to be pushed in a right direction, all they do is follow,

@invertedteapot Yes it is very true that the radio for the most part is the same shitty songs that have no value or depth, at the same time the radio supplies a large range of stations, granted it's not souly responsible for the younger audiences with atrocious unloyal tastes dipping there winkies in the new flavor of the month and I being amung these adolensents everyday can tell you their as daft as the songs they listen to.

@thatsMRpotatoe Thus emerges my hesitance and despise for "mainstream" music, simply because it's more a matter of what rich asshole is willing to place the highest bet on which song, and that determines familiarity and popularity amongst the listeners. I like weird music, I like songs that make me want to cry, or see images in my head, or make me relive anothers experiences;, these are what art is supposed to be. Yoni spills his heart out in every track, and many others as well.

@thatsMRpotatoe yes and no. I agree, many things can be modified into something better, particularly music. I grew up in Minneapolis with KDWB playing the "TOP 10 HITS" list over and over again. The rating is by which song gets played the most, and which song gets played the most is determined by which record company pays the station to advertise. in effect, the radio stations are being paid to tell people what they should like, and people never hear anything else. isnt that sad?

@invertedteapot or you caN LIKE a selective collection of things on the radio, don't so quick to dismiss a great creation, isn't it something worth changing? Does that not make things more interesting

@riffraffselbow closing thoughts on this subject are; listen to what the radio plays, figure out why they play it, PROFIT. until then, chill the fuck down, man >.>
because the mainstream keeps shoving SHIT down the publics throat and they never develop a proper appreciation for lyrical imagery other than "that girl has a nice ass/ Sex is great, etc etc" You can thank the radio and the big production labels. Or you can hate them, like me :P

@invertedteapot
If this were popular, you would hate this, too.
