  • Great video! I've grabbed all your episodes and will check them out in the next few days. I'm starting to try my hand at capturing and archiving my rare VHS and LaserDiscs... the second part of this episode was quite helpful. After some searching, I've discovered that most of those devices are difficult to obtain. I might snag an Archer #15-1276 from eBay this week, others are nowhere to be seen. One question, are you Famicoman on Cinemageddon? VHS rip guide there uses the exact same equipment.

  • @cirothungol I've got all the gear from ebay. You might not see anything up now, but they pop up all the time. I'm glad the episode was helpful. And yes, I am the same guy from CG. I hope to get some more advanced gear soon like a full-frame TBC, but that is a little off. I highly recommend the vidicraft gear. Nothing but good things to say about it.

  • i had loads of minidiscs, late nineties/early noughties I used to record jams, cds, sometimes 3 albums in the LP mode then they bought out NetMD so it titled your cd tracks for minidisc, I had around 300 discs rather than wipe them I'd just buy new ones, £1 each, Minidisc was like DAT for the masses, DAT machines were too expensive and then MD came out, sony invented but sharp were always considered as making the best portable players.
