Just Music. Enrico Caruso sings "Mattinata" by R. Leoncavallo in this remastered recording where he is accompanied by the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra. The vocals were recorded on April 8, 1904 in Milan and the instrumentals were recorded in April, 2002 in Vienna. The original recording of this had Caruso accompanied by Ruggero Leoncavallo on the piano, which I've now posted.
When Caruso sings "straight" it´s really great! Here he does it with lyric flow without sobbing and breaks = Great!

Wonderful! It's nice to hear Caruso in these re-mastered recordings. It surely gives a better picture of what the voice was really like, and it was certainly powerful.
