Disney's The Black Hole + NEW fan trailer

This is a new trailer I cut for the classic 1979 Disney film: The Black Hole. The original titles I created got compressed into oblivion by the mini DV codec, so I had to create the savage giant hideous red ones that you see in here. I know they suck, so plz refrain from telling me this. However, feel free to compliment me on how fantastic the rest of it is. = D

The Black Hole and Event Horizon are similar movies for sure ... Some have claimed it was a remake. To me, the Black Hole has more charm. I liked the concept of Event Horizon, but it was a somewhat crude execution.

Is there no chance Hollywood can go back to building models of spaceships rather than CGIing them? The Cygnus is prob the best looking ship ever.

Yes, these space effects were awesome. I am a sick star wars fan but the new trilogy lost me a bit with all the CGI.

I would like to see more movie like 'The Black Hole'. I am tired of people 'walking' inside a spaceship like they are in an Earth-based movie studio.classic wire and CGI that doesn't look CGI! I've seen great fx motion photography... but scripts have minutias that I can't follow or 'suspend' disbelief? Or better yet... have the whole 'black hole' expedition reflect what we know from 'Discovery' channel?

DAMN! That was a VERY well put together fan trailer. I love this movie, but you actually made it look even more exciting than it actually is. Nice contemporary editing and mix techniques. Kudos! I'm gonna point some more of my friends to this! Simply....WOW! :)
