@zphi22 more traders have been successful off of trend trading than fundamentals. Warren Buffet is not a good example and averaged 20% a year return. He is able to make so much money because he uses other people's money. Read his book how he got started. If you have a billion and you make 20% then that is 200 million. If you take a percentage of that say 10% then thats 20 million, and you used others money.

the problem with Ta is that if every body is doing it the trends will perpetuate until bulls aor bares are exausted, leaving contarian investersto profit!
besides warren buffet (aka the richest investor ever uses fundemental analysis)

Very good to hear your view on trading the market, thanks for posting this.
There is a little more to the stock market than drawing a trendline with a ruler my friend.

There sure is ... I will be the first to agree with you. However if people just start using a trendline technique a least they get a better idea then listening to tips ... it can often stop them from losing or buying at totally the wrong time. You would agree that great traders study the market all their lives and continue to learn.
