@gladysjian huh.. maybe that means the more education your receive, the more educated you become.. *drool* an honorary degree sounds like something you get for not doing the required coursework to achieve said degree.. oh wait..

This commencement was just for the masters and PhDs.

I got my MA from UMass Amherst. Viewers of this clip I want you to know: people who were booing on the stage when Andre Card was granted honorary PhD are all faculty, meaning professors, representing their departments. They are not kids. They all earned their PhDs and they are those who teach you in your colleges. And all the graduates in this room are Masters and PhDs, the highest degrees you can get. They were all booing down the stage and their families and friends in the audience.

Donnerstag88 these are graduate students who have earned their masters. They are not kids, they are adults and faculty. How many kids do you know who have earned masters degrees?

yay, let's disrupt graduation for everyone because we're huge whiny faggots.
Kids are so fucking stupid these days, I bet you almost none of those people even knew who Andrew Card was before the protest.

No, throwing shoes.

Thanks UMass...boo the the BOT, but as usual the kids usually get it right. Considering what this a~~hole said about the Barack and the white house 'dress code' yesterday it makes it even sweeter. Barack knows that necktie can just as well become a noose. Take it to the (w)hole Barack, we are with you.
Being a robot to right wing neo-conservatism and sucking up to special interest groups isn't patriotic, but standing up in what you believe in is. UMass > Card.
