IMHO this is the best boss in the game. Even though it's really easy its so EPIC!!!!

it's official, the 360 verion is better than the wii version! i fought the wii egg dragoon, and this one looks 9000 times more epic! especially when sonic starts beating up eggman's cockpit and almost shatters the dome, thus almost killing eggman himself!!!!
