@MrFuhrer2009 Ikr? I'm still trying to figure that out myself. I was assuming that Colin firth's character was just infatuated with the other guy because he was the most normal person he's seen.

@cghu007 i agree. colin does the painfully awkward really well, that it actually makes the audience uncomfortable to watch. his acting makes me wanna tell the other dude, "stop making poor colin feel so uncomfortable! give him a break" lol hes a truly talented actor

O God.. I've been wanting to watch this movie since 2001 and there wasn't a way to purchase it here at the time. And now I'm watching it. Surreal, man.
Colin's character is painful to watch. There're all sorts of gestures and expressions that broke my heart just watching him. And I was like.. yikes, give the guy his shirts back! Why are you clinging to them so creepily?? He's an awesome actor, is CF.

The way he interacts with his mother is odd, no man would grope his mother like this. Especially at 01:14 when he rests his arm across her bosom.
