Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic:
"A great day for Serbian Science. Serbia has become a member of the Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe during Spain's chairmanship of the project. The goal of PRACE is to keep EU competitive in Supercomputing with the US, Japan, China and India. The 7 year long 10 million euro Blue Danube Supercomputing Initiative embodies Serbia's serious intent to take active part in the 21st century's supercomputing revolution. The Institute of Physics in Belgrade will be transformed into a great campus of science."
