I would like to point out that this can be done extremely more green that you put it, you can use stainless steel some salt, and some water to make a very efficient dry cell which can produce enough hydrogen from solar power at your home to fill your car every day, and as for fueling stations, your out of luck.

This is the way of the future... it actually WORKS... unlike solar, or wind power.. and it will solve ALL of our problems ...

Hydrogen is THE MOST COMMON SUBSTANCE in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE!

Electrolysis is easy... the only reason this was dropped was the government cant control it! and if they cant control it, they don't want it.... this needs to be Brought back and we need to tell the government to go piss up a rope!

It requires more carbon only if your power source is carbon based.

You've clearly gotten Hydrogen FUEL CELL cars mixed up with Hydrogen cars. They are two different things. In a fuel cell car you would not need to fill up (with anything but water). But you're just kids and you probably spent about an hour researching this project. Did you get a free trip to Colorado? That WAS the intent of this project to begin with right?
