reminds me of my father I met later in life who lived on allison Rd. in Texas before he deceased. I used to visit him ever summer in my teens.

There really is an Allison Road, and lead singer Robin Wilson, who also wrote this, actually did drive by it in Roosevelt, TX on I-10 on the way to El Paso.
