This was my 2nd marathon and i was impressed how i managed to overcome the biggest obstacle ever; wind, rain, and freezing cold temperatures. i still managed to achieve my goal of finishing it in 5 hours. Great year like always:)

Even though the LA Marathon discriminates on the basis of gender, it is indeed quite an event.

@Django5198 No way! That would have wiped out a lot more runners. It was hilly only through the first 6 miles, then flatened out til the grind towards the beach.
