CNN "Black In America" Does Not Show Black Middle Class

http://zennie2005.blogspot.com/2008/07/cnns-black-in-america-does-not.html - CNN's Black in America is a welcome addition to TV, but it has a major problem to me in that it does not represent middle class African Americans. Much of the telecast shows Blacks who are downtrodden, or have had something "done" to them by the "system." It's a one-sided view of Blacks that does not help in really understanding African Americans. Not every aspect of Black culture or the life of those of us who are is negative, and I feel that the general life of middle class Blacks was ignored.

I am black upper class. IDK but I have a car & home alarm system & now have a license 2 carry a gun. Why? White ppl scare me!! No news ever talks abou this!! No one is talking about how mean dangerous & scarry 2% of whites are. I am nicest loving person alive. I even take care on white foster children!! 55% of all incarcerated men are black. That statistic does not state 55% of all black males are incarcerated. huge difference. Still shows a huge gaping flaw in our justice system.

Tv isn't suppose to represent anyone. Any entertainment is an exaggeration of reality. Documentaries on the other hand should be factual. However, still good point.

It's because the media is run by dorks and they have no taste.... Most of them are rich and don't even know what living normal life is anyways. Just turn the TV off and hopefully others will do the same. Channel after channel after channel of visual and auditory garbage to brainwash you or me into believing we have to pay money to be "Equal" and cool to "Their" standards instead of people being able to think for themselves.

the 55% incarceration level for Black males and 70% single rate amongst Black Females should be "the canary in the mine shaft". If the Black American don't get it, then that's THE END. Can't say we didn't try though..
