Love this song! I love almost all of Todd Snider's songs, though. I'm such a junkie, I just saw him for the 8th time!

@kwittnebel remember this came out on Viva Satellite a gabillion years ago in 2000
before he established the persona you describe.
I met him after a show once when he was touring on VS & a budding cult hero.
He was totally cool and gracious, drank beers with us for half an hour
& gave us signed copies of VS on cd.
I wish he'd reunite with the Nervous Wrecks and do some full-band electric shows.

Every time I watch this video I have to sift through a hundred other Todd Snider vids like a needle in a haystack. This is so unlike the hyperanalytical, skeptical, independent Todd Snider that comes through in all his other songs. And yet he just nails it to the wall. I guess that's why I look for it. It's actually some of his strongest singing.
