I hope that people did not vote for our president because he is black. I would hope they voted for Mr. Obama for his right and his smarts. And I would think to discount his mothers race, who raised him by herself is very selfish. We all should be proud of him for his achievments. But I would bet that his mother would like to be recognized and to do that you would have to say that our President is balck and white. I know that people who are not black voted for him because of his politics.
