Some scholars claim the only reason Stalin made a non-aggression pact w Hitler was so that he could stab Hitler in the back by invading Germany while the Werhmact was busy fighting in Western Europe.

Savior? Actually if Hitler had honored his non-aggression pact with the Stalin and not invaded the Soviet Union then he probably could have defeated England and the United States. It was because of Hitler that the Germans lost their empire. It was also because of Hitler that many Germans were ethnically cleansed from their ancestoral lands. Also half of Germany wouldn't have had to suffer under Soviet occupation for so long if it hadn't been for Hitler's invasion of the Soviet Union.
