This video is in memory of my dog Zakk. Words can't explain how much this dog meant to me. Like in the video, Zakk stuck to me like glue everywhere we went, he adored me as much as I adored him. You never had to tell Zakk anything twice. He was so smart and obedient and was always such a great role model for all his sisters. The 2 extra dogs in the video are my cousin Richards, which happens to be the father of all my dogs (Nanook, who's 14!), and another sister (Misty). Most of the video was taken less than 2 weeks ago, just after his cancer diagnosis. I never expected to lose him so fast.
I chose this old Jackson Browne song for his memorial because I thought it fit the mood and It seemed to talk to what I'm feeling.

Thanks for making my life a happier one for 10 years Zakk.

Zakk and Mischief were my pride and joy, I can't believe they're both gone now.
I hope they're together now.

As a longtime Jackson fan I completely give it up to you as having the chords down pat! You nailed all the rifts. Now the funny thing is I sound exactly like Jackson does, but I can't play a note. Not to say you didn't sing it well by any means. Just saying that I've always been told I sound just like him when I sing. Sorry for the loss of your friend. It's so difficult, particularly when they are good like that - obedient, intelligent - I might add handsome too! Hopefully, making your beutifully done tribute will help you transition this tough time. I know it helped me.

My condolences to you over the loss of your best friend. So sad. He was lucky to have you in his life. I think that I'd rather lose them, than have them lose us and not know if they are well taken care of or not. Peace to you. We'll all meet again someday.
