Forgive the awkward hovering camera, didn't have a good place to mount it. I wanted it to be close that people could pick out the individual notes if they want to.

I'm not sure how correct this is, but this is how I hear it. I have another video of me playing this song on a tin whistle and I made a point to mention that it isn't played the way Picard plays it because of the limitations of a tin whistle. This is my attempt to closer to the actual notes Picard plays.

  • very nice, can't wait to learn! though what Type of Tin whistle (such as tone like [ C, D, others]) would you recommend i play this on?

  • @Cryuss90 I could be wrong but I think the problem is that Tin whistles don't have the range to play this. You can only play on two different octaves if you expect to make any sort of pleasing sound, whereas this song spreads out onto 3 octaves. Most of the song is played on the higher two, but the first few notes dig too low. You'll either need to find a instrument with better range or compromise on those first few notes (as I do in the other video).

It's all played on the D scale.
