越美晴 「カルディアの海」(1980)

私にとって彼女は、テクノの「コシミハル」以前の越美晴さんです。
この曲は、デビューシングル"Love Step"から「マイブルーサマー」までの、彼女のピアノプレイを前面に押し出すスタイルを変え、当時「ダサくて叩けない」というドラマーもいた16ビートと、勃興しつつ­あったシンセの音を、独特の哀愁を帯びた彼女の曲に乗せた、不思議な魅力を持ったアレンジです。
しかし当時全くと言っていいほどTVを見なかった私は、当時彼女が「レッツゴーヤング」のサンデーズだったことを迂闊にも知りませんでした。
あの番組と、この曲の世界と、ジャケット写真の彼女に見える「悪戯っぽい大人」の表情。どこをどうすれば重なり合うのでしょうか？

This tune is "Caldia no Umi (Caldian sea)" by Koshi Miharu, that was released as EP in 1980.

Is this Koshi Miharu? Did any of the members of the band Japan ever play on any of her records?

There are no players' list on this EP's liner note, but the arranger of this tune is Makoto Yano, Who was a husband of Akiko Yano.

She is one of the most famous female vocalist in Japan, and is now the wife of Ryuichi Sakamoto, who is known as a keyboardist of Yellow Magic Orchestra, and as a writer of "The theme of Last Emperor" .
