Xerox is a proud recipient of The National Medal of Technology, the highest honor awarded by the President of the United States to Americas leading innovators. President George W. Bush presented the medal to Xerox CEO Ursula Burns in Washington in 2005. The National Medal of Technology recognized Xerox's continued commitment to excellence, creativity, and many inventions that have brought Xerox to the forefront of technological innovation in the information age. Other Xerox leaders discussing the technology medal include Anne Mulcahy, Patty Calkins, Yonn Rasmussen, Rick Dastin and Santokh Badesha.
