IP DOME SEMINAR: IP in biotech industry speech by Dr.K.B.Ramachandran, HOD (biotech), IIT-Madras_2

Dr. K.B. Ramachandran graduated with a bachelor degree from Madras University in chemical engineering. He received his masters from Clarkson University, Potsdam, USA and a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania, USA. After his post graduation he joined Hindustan Antibiotics, Pune and served in their technical service, production, and process development divisions. In 1979, he joined Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi in the Department of biochemical engineering and biotechnology and served as a professor till 1994. From 1994-2004, he was the FFM chaired professor in biochemical engineering at University of Malaysia. Currently, Dr. Ramachandran is professor and head of the department of biotechnology at IIT, Madras.
