This is a *GREAT* song and it surprises me it never became a super hit. I had heard "Rambling Rose" dozens of times on the radio - and this just once..and I was hooked. I went out immediately on got the record only to find this was the B-side to Rambling Rose which, though a very good song, doesn't grab me like this song! I get the increasing sense that many B-sides of records back then were better than the A-sides. I wonder if others agree...

When I first heard this song 1969 propertly, I think...this must be the lovesong forever.
And now 40 years later I see my dreams come true!
