For boots, regularly polishing your shoes re-invigorates them and prevents cracking. Now that it's starting to snow where I'm at, the salt used in the roads can take a heavy toll on the boots, so reguarly polishing them is a good way to extend the life of your boot.

But some girls look cute when they do that !
