Note: If you want to run your bike to keep it lubed and keep fluids coating the engine tranny etc. MAKE SURE ITS ABOVE FREEZING! I ran my bike when it was well below freezing when the heater was off (storage area was below freezing) and I had coolant leaking and smoke come out.... if you are in heated garge for storage than its not a problem but if you store bike outside or exposed to cold do not run it or risk potential problems.
steps I used to winterize your bike. All of the things I did and details on how to below if you dont want to replay through video.
Equipment you'll need to winterize (minimum)
-Fuel Stabilizer for vehicle storage (any brand will do just read on the back for how long they last for)
-New oil (what ever kind you want to use)
-Trickle battery charger (ONLY if you want to, it is not necissary)
-MC cover or cotton bed sheet
Steps to winterize (minimum)
-Fill your tank almost full (leaving room for the fuel stabalizer)
-Do an oil change and if its been a while replace oil filter as well
-Add fuel stabilizer to gas (do the math and add proper amount)
-Close tank and shake bike around to mix it better
-Run bike for recommended time period so the gas reaches all of your engine and mixes well (you can run it longer if you want, I ran bike for 10 min instead of 5)
-Take out battery and place indoors (not near any hot surfaces or areas)
-If wanted you can put the battery on a trickle charger, although you can just leave it and fully charge in the spring when you bring the bike out.
-Cover the bike with MC cover or cotton bed sheet
-Run the bike 1-2 times a month for 10-15 mins and if possible DRIVE IT AROUND! (If you run it to short you will heat up any frost or any mosture in the engine/tank and it will not be good for your bike, Winter months have lots of condensation!)
Equipment to winterize (maximum)
-Clutch fluid
-Oil
-Wax and cleaner
-WD-40
-Motorcycle cover (Cotten bed sheet will do if short on $)
-Trickle Charger (for battery)
Steps to winterize (maximum)
-Pour fuel stabilizer in FULL gas tank
-Do an oil change (including oil filter)
-Wash and Wax bike
-Replace oil for brakes, coolant, and replace clutch fluid (MAKE SURE ITS THE RIGHT ONE FOR YOUR BIKE!!!!)
-Take battery out and put on trickle charger
-Store in heated dry garage
-WD-40 all moving parts
-Clean chain and adjust it
-Check tire pressure and keep in at proper level
Place bike on center stand or drive tires up on blocks of plywood (keeps pressure off tires)
-Remove spark plugs and add about a table spoon of oil to each. then run engine without plugs in so oil distributes then place plugs back in.
-Run bike for about 10-15 min at least once a month if not twice. (if you can drive it down the block and back its better)(read above comment in minimum about running bike in winter)
-Think about how great its going to be to ride in spring :)
Dude, how did your bike run after you stored it with that much stabilizer? Im pretty sure it said 10ml per 3L. I have a 17L tank which is equivelant to 60ml of sta-bil, a shotglass. Looks like you used half a bottle?

@MrGully84 Yeah I realized after I used an ass load of stabalizer! But it started up right away in the spring no problem. Didnt have any issues with the bike at all so I think it didn't have a large effect with the amount of fuel that was in the tank.
