I'll tell you one thing that Niagara falls NY always beats us on, the food!
Its always been better in the states,Can't beat those NY style chicken wings and pizza.
They've always had better restaurants,not necessarily better looking ones but good products.Whereas in Canada we have the opposite.

No No this is an opportunity to create a south of the border tourist zone. As you cross into the States it will feel reminiscent of crossing into Tijuana in Mexico. Hang pinatas release wild chickens give away free nacho snacks and then after a wild party night or a breathtaking tour of urban blight across the border tourists can zip back to Canadian sanity and a renewed sense of how lucky they really are.

Happy New Year Doc ! I think NF Ontario should help out ..... share ! .... in labour laws, investment projects and other means. Become like an independent tourist interzone. Why wait? The Elite aren't planning renewal anytime soon.

I hate to be a parrot, but the comment I left for the video 'Niagara Falls A Struggling City' also applies here...
There are a lot of extremes in Niagara Falls: beauty, filth, crime and innocence; but the awesome potential this place has to become truly great will one day be realized when those in power get over the collapse of the industrial revolution which NF, NY so heavily relied on during the 20th century.
