MID Tablet - process android.process.acore has stopped

PLEASE HELP

MID TR718D 7" Tablet
Android 2.1

"Sorry!" "The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." [Force close]
"Sorry!" "The process com.google.gapps has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." [Force close]

Im having troubling with my MID Tablet. I cant get passed these two "Sorry!" messages. It just relaunches and shows the messages again. I can't find a manual or anything that works in numerous forums. I don't mind reseting to factory settings or reinstalling the OS, but I don't know what to do. Anyone else in the same situation?

settings>applications>manage applications>all>contacts storage>clear data and force stop

This started happening on my new tablet running Andriod 4.0.3 as I was trying to set up my gmail account. I removed the gmail account, and the problem went away.

@s0m30n32008 did this work on his tablet? Me and my friend just got new ZTE's and both are doing this, I thought it might be because we both put our googlemail accounts onto one phone first, and they may be clashing somehow? I know it is something to do with all our contacts on each account but I dont even know how to delete the account i dont want?
