Hey guys, this is a test I'm doing to try to work out the problem with my pedal. As you can hear, and it says at the end of the video, I start of clean, then turn on the Fuzz, and then flip the Octave Fuzz, all playing the same thing(Hey Joe-JH chords). Then I just mess around, switching back and forth so that you can see what happens when the pedal is on vs. off...

  • best sounding incredible guitar/amp/pedal set on youtube

  • @aLinuxTV Hope you realize you're commenting on a video I posted purely to trouble shoot an obviously broken pedal...glad you took the time and effort to write a comment on how bad my setup is when you're not smart enough to read the description.

  • Horrible quality. I can't even hear what's going on.

  • @bladeslinger15 Yea, I was trouble shooting when I made this and was just trying to demonstrate what was going on when I would play through the pedal...Hopefully as soon as I finish up with finals I'll be able to figure out whats going on and fix it

  • Hey bud, Check out the forum on BYOC. They have a thread for tech issue related problems. More than likely, you soldiered something wrong, and need to open her up and use a multi-meter or signal tester to let you know where you went wrong. Best luck. Keep me posted, I am making the chorus pedal as we speak.

  • u actually find another effect type

  • :D

  • I believe you may want try reversing your transistors. Having reversed pinout is a very common issue... AND +1 the breco's comment - try a new battery!

  • try a new battery.

I didn't say bad.. I said it sounds incredible ... lots of Hendrix fuzz in there. Enjoy.

  • FAIL!

  • @SudoDSLAM THANKS!!! I've been looking for some decent advise FOREVER. and I agree, BYOC makes great stuff. I built the OD-2, which sounds incredible, as well as the analog delay which is awesome as well. This was my first build and I haven't touched it for a while. Now that I know what could be the problem I will definitely check that out and see if I can fix it. Thanks again!!!
