  • isn't this possible by using command promt and working with autorun.exe or something?

  • You might be thinking about the msconfig from the run command line, I use that too, but for first time users to vista this is a new way of doing it.

  • You did everything right and all but you're not really detailed. You should be explain what it does and how it works. Versus just how to do it. Just my two cents anyway, sorry if you didn't even want one :P

  • The average computer user will think those changes are permanent and they can't use their applications any more. You need to explain how it just stops the programs from being starting in RAM before the OS starts.

  • Well I did explain that its about removing applications from starting up, not removing them permanently from the OS. There are too many things people can misunderstand, will see how we can improve on it next time.
