Is that thing worth buying
-
I would wach what you do, the 2305 with more than 500 hrs, the pump will go out.
-
Agreed. I have now had my 2305 since November. It has no problem picking up the 60" bucket full of wet snow. I also used it to put 10 yards of mulch in my flower beds. I expect without dentures the 48" bucket will dig better though.

@bill63304 we have the bigger bucket on our 2305, pretty awesome.
-
Must have taken forever to dig with that tractor.
-
It certainly could. It depends on the concrete and how much air is in-between it. Per JD the 48" bucket is 0.6 cubic yards or 16.2 cubic feet. WikiAnswers tells us concrete is between 68 and 200 pounds per cubic foot depending on aggregate used. That means the 48" 2305 materials bucket full of dry cured crushed concrete could weight as much as 3,240 ounds.

I think a load of crushed concrete must weigh more than 400 lbs
do you find it kinda tips a bit? what do you have for rear ballast?

I was using my bush hog but now I have made me a rear ballast out of concrete and steel hooks that hang on to the back of the box blade. weighs in at 400 plus lbs and only cost me the bags of concrete.
