@josephjay37 Chili con carne (often known simply as chili) is a spicy stew. The name of the dish derives from the Spanish chile con carne, "chili pepper with meat." Traditional versions are made, minimally, from chili peppers, garlic, onions, and cumin, along with chopped or ground beef. Beans and tomatoes are frequently included. Variations, both geographic and personal, may involve different types of meat as well as a variety of other ingredients.

That is not Chili!! Real Chili has just meat and sauce. And the sauce is made from stock and chili peppers. There are no tomatoes in Chili!!!!!

Keep it up :D

Loved the video & music. So envious of the bike. As far as the chili goes you could try adding some cumin, sweet paprika and oregano as well. Beer instead of wine... dam I could keep going but entertaining video :D
I was looking at chili recipes on here, and noticed how familiar the scenery looks! I said to myself that you had to be close to home ( Nova Scotia ), and was even more confident when I noticed the no name products :D - Great video!

Sorry reading the title it does say "The Simple Chef". Suppose if I add cilantro & chocolate it's getting all a bit too complicated. Great Video mate.

Heh, ya , all my recipe videos are designed to encourage those not kitchen-savvy to try making something other than macaroni and frozen french fries.

That looks really hearty and good. I bet it makes for a filling side dish. :)

With the meat and beans in it ( for protein) and the veggies ( onions, tomatoes, peppers ) all you really need is some bread or buns and a salad to make it a complete meal, especially if you put potatoes in it like I do.
