  • That was time when our Nationalism was not raped by Thug Moi and his cronies. We went to High School and A-Levels with kids from all over Kenya, met boys and girls from Coast,Western,Rift Valley,Nyanza. And we accepted each other fairly well. And danced other people's music, even when we did not understand the words. We knew they were our people and they knew we were their people.Until the pretenders to the throne appeared and destroyed generation, mangirohia nda magicuunga! Mangiroharuo kanyuria!

  • Many thanks, Naidamu, for this upload. Takes me back to those days in 70s when I was a boy growing up. . . those days of platform shoes. . . bell-bottom trousers. . . . afro hair. . . we could not understand a single word in Kiambu but we would still dance. . . .boy!. . . thanks mate. . .

  • Naidamu itieka! This 45 rpm vinyl was one of my absolute favourites on my dad's Philips phonograph.
