The coton de tulear did not change!
If your dog doesn't look like a coton de Tuléar, it's probably not a coton de tulear.
I have seen and known these dogs in the city of Tulear when they were still in a semi-wild condition.
The Cottons you buy in abroad are often mixed dogs, so be careful!
These strong little dogs exists only in one color: white.
They like to eat rodents and other little animals.
In the wild, they have dirty dreadlock hairs, but they're funny.

They bark at strangers and approach them. I have a Coton de Tulear.

I can see that the coton's tail was also different. Most cotons today have a curled to the back tail. From this video, their tails were more into straight. Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. Amazing enough, i met a dog today who his owner told me that he was a coton but I still thought that he was a mix because of the tong legs and straight tail. After watching this video, I now realize that he looks exactly like the cotons look like not so long ago in 1985.

to me, for sure a maltese ;) I have two maltese-clowns who are so very smart to learn new stuff everyday. I have more than 60 videos of them in my youtube channel-if you were interested to learn about them.
I am a big dog lover though - love them all
