I've had the pleasure to listen to Gato live a couple of times.. a long, long, time ago, one of those times it was in recording studio with a small audience!! here in San Diego.. it was amazing.

I had the good grace to be blessed to attend this concert at the Birchmere. WOW!

I was turned onto Gato when I was in college and have loved everything he has ever done. It took me 24 years to see him and he came to the Birchmere on my birthday and it was more than worth the wait. I don't know when the Sax was invented but I do know that it was waiting for Gato to come along and play it the way only he can.

Thank you Gato for all of your many gifts.
