Thanks for the compliment man. I know the economy is fucked up, but if I kept being worried about that, I would've never got out. Disability is where I want it now, so I'm straight; plus the G.I. Bill living money. I just gotta stay on the grind with this college. Eventually you gotta get out, but do it when you are ready. Good luck on that man.
I was in the AF for 3 years (07-10). I love being out. I'm going to school full-time and love it, about to start my 3rd semester tomorrow actually. I wasn't one for the military, hated every second of it, but it taught me to respect myself and others.

@NParker87 Thats whats up. I guess every experience is different, but at least you learned something while you were enlisted.

Sound advice. I got out back in 2002, before the economy went south. And it was a transition, because was a gung-ho NCO! Preparation is the key.

@Khemistry101 Yeah....things are alright. I'm in college with all them young ass kids; surviving off of disability and G.I. Bill Money. It could be worse I guess. Its only a matter of time now, before I get money.

Im considering going to the Navy to make a better future for my fiance and my unborn baby... Would you recomend that? Also iWanted to know is the money you make while in the navy enough to get a home loan after four years?

That is a good plan. Just hopefully you dont pick a rate where you are constantly in Iraq. The money you make is OK, once you pick up rank. As far as getting a home loan goes......You can get that handled through either the VA programs, or through Navy Federal Credit Union.
