I must have missed the 'apology'.... I think that Jon said that Gonzales was not stupid, but a perjurer.... Who know, to Conservatives, that may just suffice as an apology....

yes, it's horrifying to know that the people in charge of our government are soulless monsters, equatable to the most vicious and two-faced thug the criminal underworld has ever produced - but at least we CAN know the truth, and then make our moves with our eyes open

So those votes *belonged* to Gore? Funny, I thought that even in American democracy, my vote belongs to me, and is mine to award to whoever I feel has earned it. Maybe if Gore had been a little less of a centrist sell-out he'd have earned the votes of those 97,421 people that felt Nader represented their political values better. If anything, the media/political institutions of America took millions of votes from Nader by systematically excluding and marginalizing him.
