My dad served on this ship for several years, he has told me stories about getting shore leave, one time him and his navy buddies were buying thinks from an outdoor market, my dad's freind got a bird, but about a mile away, the bird flew away. The guys walked back to the maret to find that the guy who sold the bird had it trained to fly back to him, the dude got arrested lol
