he is "the last of the apostles" because he was brought on board a long time after the work of Christ. he was simply talking of the time of his becoming an apostle compared to those that had talked,walked and seen Jesus in the flesh. not that there will be no more apostles after him! on the laying on of hands whether symbolic or not be the judge,all i can say the bible says because of them being laid on him he received the office.GOD has put leaders(presbtry)that are his agents of authority

y never gives people the calling of Pastor.

The laying on of hands is only symbolic, the efficacy of the office is from God I'm sure u know.

Anyone can read scripture brother but correcly analysing and accurately hand is something else altogether.

B4 we can delve into the Bible, tell me why Paul calls himself the last of the apostles and name me one apostle after the death of John throughout the history of the Church. You will find none until the emergence of the Charismatic movement.

he received the office of a pastor by the laying on of he presbitry,but due to the errand he made for paul he was more of an appostle than a pastor.pliz read your bible before making a statement.otherwise you will sound ingnorant yet am persuaded of better things of you.
