this is the opposite of what aung san suu kyi wants. if the people really do rise up violently and overthrow the government, it might seem good in the short term, but if you think of it in the long run it will be actually worse. for example, if the government is truly overthrown using violence, there will be a power void, and to compound troubles, people will be left with weapons in a lawless country. not only that, but if someone wants to take power violently, history could repeat itself again.
but would you rather they continue living this hell hole? when they are cornered to that extent, nothing else matters except to live and survive that moment.
so sad my neighbours in Myanmar cannot function same as normal modern country. learning for everyone not to let the military have too much power, because how can people take it back ?
