You know what? Here is a story.

When my host mother's dog tried to eat my homework, I said to him, "Don't eat. You'll be in the doghouse."

But it didn't work. He didn't care what I was saying. So he ate my homework.

Next school day, even I said to my teacher "My dog ate my homework", it was also didn't work to him, so ... I was in the doghouse.
