  • What part of Suisse Romande are you from? I lived in Geneva for three years, spending part of my time in the Haute Savoie, so I've heard some of the Swiss French and some of the French, but not everything. I heard of huitante, for example, but never heard it in use in Geneva.

  • @CrookdRiverWmn I am from Lausanne. Yes, huitante is from Switzerland but the people in Geneva still say quatre vingt dix.

  • You sound like an American, you must of spent some time in America.

  • @aerowayne1 Yes, a lot of time, half my life to be exact :)

  • Is swiss french spoken slower than french french!?

  • @Xevorim IN general yes, but not always :)
