How to take dark/black hair to platinum blonde!

Below are listed all of the products needed:

- Goldwell Oxycur Lightener and 30 Vol. Topchic Developer: Mix one scoop of lightener and 30ml developer. Leave on for 30 minutes up to 45 minutes max. If you're going platinum, you would need to bleach 3 times all together and then apply a purple based toner.

This product 'foams' during the developing time, so don't just "paint" it on. Use your hands to work the bleach in. Make sure you apply just enough so it doesn't get dry before the 30-45 minutes, it'll really damage your hair! *DO NOT USE HEAT WITH THESE PRODUCTS!

ALSO make sure to buy the measuring bowl so you can measure out the developer correctly!

Additional products: the following products can be found online, or in most drug department stores.

- Hot Oil
- Dumb Blonde Reconstructor
- Silver Expressions shampoo & conditioner
- Fanci Full Ultra White Minx toner (temporary- washes out in one shampoo)
- Igora Gloss Iceflower toner (fades after about 10 washes)

Like I said, it will take awhile before your hair is manageable again. Be patient and very gentle with your hair! Don't blow-dry. If you do, make sure you use the setting where it's cool air, not hot. Don't shampoo for the FIRST week- just use conditioner, hot oil, and the reconstructor.

hey girl i indeed love your hair looks really good im light too but i had a salon disaster you can come check me out and see what hair color xperts did to me not cool..now i might have to wait until my hair gets healthy again until i redo it inless you have advices for me , do u know if wella blonder is anygood? i mean it lifts 7 levels 2

unphreys07- Yes, I've heard that Wella is good too, but I haven't used it and I don't know the directions, that's why I can't recommend it. But if you do know what you're doing it's effective. I know of a bunch of people in the salon that uses Wella.

I would NEVER do that, dying your hair that blonde, like bleach blond is going to ruin your hair .. you prob look cute to with black hair .. this is just kind of fake .. :/ sry

When it grows back, are you bleaching your hair 3 times again??.. Because I've got dark brown hair, I dont use a Bleach but I use 40 volume with blonde dye, and I'm almost as blonde as u, well a little darker, but still i dont need to bleach my hair everytime i want to do roots touch up. But im looking foward to have lighter blonde hair, but I'm scared about bleach (hahaha) and if you've got to touch up ur hair again with bleach every month... I just think that hair will be all ugly and dry..

bou245- No, no! When my roots grow in I only bleach it once. At first it appears even, but as it grows out in about 2 weeks you can see a slight tint of yellow. When I need to touch up my roots again (the following month), I go over the yellowness and the new growth. Usually two bleach sessions would do, as hair near the root bleach/dyes faster. I sometimes wait two months since my bangs cover my front roots, but it really depends if I have somewhere/someone to see or not.
