it is a 100 percent ceylon puffer Tetraodon fluviatalis which has similar marking as that on figure 8 puffer and is there on the puffers in this vedio......
These puffers are actually Green Puffers (Tetraodon Fluviatilis) which can grow to 20cm in length which is much larger than figure of 8 puffers (Tetraodon Biocellatus) which grow to around 6cm. You can tell the difference between the two fish by their size, the lack of a spot on the caudal penduncle of the Green Puffer and the brighter markings of the figure of 8.
I have a pair of green puffers myself and they're growing rapidly since I increased the salinity of their tank.
figure 8s have a spot on either side of their tail that looks like an eye which is how they go their scientific name. these are definitely not figure 8s

This puffer is absolutely not a ceylon puffer or a Figure 8 puffer. Its a giant spotted puffer (Tetraodon Sabahensis).

figure 8s have a spot on either side of their tail that looks like an eye which is how they go their scientific name. these are definitely not figure 8s

A: its not a figure eight, figure eights stomach's and pale white/creamy and non patterned, BUT if this fish were a fig 8 they get to 3inch long

Looks like a Ceylon Puffer fish. Very similar to the F8.
