The first interview with Girls Aloud on GMTV on 27th October 2008. This interview is before they go off to perform The Promise for the first time. They talk about their reactions to finding out that The Promise got #1 and then talk briefly about Out Of Control and some other recent news stories about them. This is one of Girls Aloud's best interviews imo, its brilliant!

I don't understand why anyone
would think Nicola is ugly. She's really
unique.
She isn't the sterotypical pretty girl,
she's different. I think that's why I personally think she's the most beautiful out of the bunch.
She has gorgeous hair and eyes
and the prettiest fair skin. She
sort of reminds me of Lily Cole.

It depends on how you measure and define "success". The Spice Girls sold truck loads of records but they fizzled out quickly after their second album. Their third was a flop. Destiny's Child also sold tons of records but had almost as many personnel shifts as the Sugababes. Then they broke up so Beyonce could have her solo career. Girls Aloud have had more chart success than either group and still have all their original members six years after their first single.
